just watched the bears win! this is what ohter do while we finish wheat and start on the fall work.I will trade it for a job in april cutting wheat,corn anything the vacation is hard work.

I am looking for a chance to join up with a harvest crew. I am 22 years old with a class a cdl, I have ran grain carts since jr. high school but have limited time in the combine. I am single, clean cut, non smoker that will do whatever is needed. Thanks I can be reached at rjboom@aol.com

Funny you said that! Jenna gave us a book of summer pictures and a DVD with summer video clips, etc. It made us ALL ready to get back in the wheat fields!! This snow and cold weather is for the birds!

Just plan on going and checking out as much as you can. I guarantee you won't be disappointed! You will learn a lot from all the seminars, the trade show is amazing and the networking with other harvesters is worth all the costs of the convention!

Hello, Im 32 years old, taught ag for 7 years and worked in oilfield for 3. I currently farm and I have been on harvest 3 times. My wife and I would like to get into the custom harvesting with 2 machines. We would like to work with someone who might want to retire or maybe work with some people and aquire some jobs. I do have a 9600 but would like to get rid of it and update if we could find a way to make a career out of it. I am a sophomore in college and want to work with a custom harvesting crew this summer. A couple of guys i go to school with did it last year and said they loved it. I have lived on a farm all my life and have lots of experience running machinery such as combines. I have worked a hard days work before and know that the jobs not done until its done. I recently quit farming and am looking into different job opportunities. I drive combines, have run grain carts, and have had a CDL class A for the last 10 years. There will not be a December face-to-face board meeting and open house this year. Maybe harvest will go a little faster next year and we can have one then. Also, you may not advertise for sale items on the discussion board, you must be a member to advertise and you must do it in the magazine or pay for an ad in the classifieds.
